Lost In Paradise
I'm not really an alarmist usually, but Boeing makes half of the world's planes, and they've really been going through it recently

Jack!
I mean, yes it maybe is a bit alarming and some of the technology in these planes need to be looked at more, but 6 incidents in 10 days when roughly 42,000 flights are made a day (420,000 over a 10 day period) it's to a smaller scale than we think. No. These planes have been flying for years, it's only media sensationalism that wants you to think they're all suddenly just now developing faults

airplane
Boeing has been cheating the system to get their aircraft approved faster. The 787 is a reliable aircraft and has a good track record though and incidents like these happen all the time. I’d say some bad luck coupled with bad karma.

MatiRod
11 hours ago, Attitude said: I have a flight to Tokyo next month. Should I be worried? No, flying on a commercial airplane from a legit airline is still by faaaaar the safest form of transport. You have a much much higher chance of dying in a car crash to and from the airport. But, if in the one-in-several-million chance you do die on a plane, at least your family will get rich from the lawsuit.
