Keeping this off streaming services for so many years was a huge mistake, Lemonade deserved so much more.

the numbers have been pretty awful honestly. Lemonade had an impressive Spotify debut in 2019 and was pulling 1M daily even into 2020. Hopefully it stays there bc …

Yes this is true! Love on Top is in Spotify’s biggest Valentine’s Day playlist 

The album's tracks did OK, nothing to write home about sure but OK, what performed absolutely horribly, on a very subpar level were the 4 singles, although Hold Up did OK for its messy release. Actually songs like Daddy Lessons and 6-Inch did better than some singles.

And ATRL told me frequent releases don't boost streaming numbers 

I've been listening to "Daddy Lessons" all week, so this makes sense.

If we're honest its streaming numbers are not that good but that's her own fault, keep it off streaming services other than the fraudulent Tidal was BIG mistake. It deserves way better.

Maybe it wasn't meant to be mainstream for her. It's like her 'indie' album among all the releases. We have sooo many critically acclaimed album with unusual sound that people have never heard of so Lemonade is doing fine. 

 

 

6 Inch, Love Drought, Freedom, All Night.

i've only seen Love Drought on tiktok. but she's not singing so most people wouldn't know it's her...

Mess at us treating 1M+ streams as some sort of achievement when there are single songs by other MPG doing the same numbers. 

Can only imagine how tragic its streams must be on other days.
