In any event, Doja is smart not to affiliate with Dr. Luke since she is capable of having hits without him knowing how much backlash she got and the comments she made distancing herself from him.

Same thoughts. Nicki sounds bitter. Good on Doja for not wanting to associate with DrPuke because he's most likely the reason why she didn't want to be on that song. 

 

 

The irony of all of this is that this issue, which is Nicki allegedly not liking Doja, wouldn’t have even happened if Nicki was upfront. She is literally never honest about who she is talking about and then gets shocked when people speculate. She has done this her whole career. She didn’t admit that she was talking about Lil Kim on certain songs until Remy Ma released Shether and then she started liking tweets about the songs she dissed Kim ( to prove she makes hit records that she disses people on).

 

Being a narcissist is a diagnosable disorder so I don’t wanna say Nicki is a narcissist but she sure fits the bill.

Before the slow ones arrive, the interview that came out today was nicki's first interview of the promo run, shot a more than a week ago. It's her first time talking about the situation and she was asked. 

 

Marco said "has that ever happened to you? When you wanted a feature and they took it off the song?" 

 

She doesn't need Doja. PF2 second week's sale outsold her comeback album debut sales even with controversy, demonic rituals and going bald. Clearly the public isn't interested in listening to a doja cat album in 2023.

 

About the situation tho, seems like Nicki is cool with doja but doja's team played on her face. I'm pretty sure she has nicki's old team that hated Nicki, so they definitely planted some seeds and started this "Nicki don't like u" narrative. Besides that, look how messy the situation was:

 

- Nicki asks for the verse

- doja delivers

- PF2 gets pushed back

- doja says she's on a different era now so they take her off the song

- time passes 

- doja's team reaches out to Nicki to get her back on the song
