Lover currently has a single smashing in spite of the Christmas freeze and is therefore expected to chart higher by default. However, this doesn't appear to be the case globally. Why is that? Did quality prevail over quantity?

In the USA, it’s because folklore has a lot more vinyl available. I assume that’s all the case in Europe since folklore climbed above lover during the Christmas presents season.

Lover & 1989 are seriously so overrated. Folklore deserves.

Folklore didn't have a single release since August 2020. Lover had one this year

Folklore has stronger vinyl sales, Lover is still outstreaming all her albums sans 1989 TV. But hey, at least you finally gave up the Loser-puta comparisons

Folklore is a classic and a vinyl staple. 

 

Lover will be back above it after Christmas though.

Folklore is her top 3 and Lover is at the bottom quality wise.
