I was just thinking about how the hype for SZA’s LANA is similar to the hype leading to Lana’s Paradise EP. And both will be attached to hugely successful albums.

 

Paradise opened with 67K. I think that’s a good estimate for LANA.


Also I can see SZA’s career path follow Lana’s as she leans in more into songwriting because she can’t sing either

    but OT: yes i think it will definitely outpace Pair of Dice. for one, i think it'll have a few more songs, and for two, i think tiktok will do its thing with at least one song, if not two. 

    Sza is definitely a step above Lana. Vocally and commercially :suburban:
