Should Britney record a personal album?

Featured Replies

Album with bangers as well but focused on good lyrics, videos and stories of her life. I think she could smash if promoted well and if she was into it.

If she sings the songs herself and writes her own lyrics sure, but just like her latest book, all her upcoming music will probably be ghostwritten.

She should, but can she?

Why wouldn't she be able?
The only times that we've been seeing anything experimental and personal from her, was when She wanted it.

And u know how her Con-team, were controlling the creative process.

They literally threw away her poem book and stuff in which she wrote songs. Not to mentioned Circus and FF would've been really different albums if she got her way.

ot: She has done it before and she can still do it.

Has a lot of rage in her heart and has material for her to pour it all out.

Back then, she didn't really want to put out personal songs, other than a few occasions ..so I don't know if she would be all here for it - especially since she herself said that writing the Book was really hard exactly because of the emotions she went thru.

Don't know if she would like to be hearing (or maybe ..even .. performing?) songs with her trauma in them, reliving it.

But we don't know her. She deffo should tho, since she herself said that it's therapeutic too.

Should've replied to you with my previous comment, but just saw your misconception after I posted it :deadbanana:

Let me correct you on your knowledge tho :-*:

1. Every celebrity memoir is ghostwritten. These celebs Do Not Know how to write a book.

2. The book being ghostwritten =/= she didn't contribute/isn't the story how she saw it.

It's literally her telling the ghostwriter her own story and him structuring it so that it's comprehensible for a whole book :toofunny3:

she should link up with Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, they’re good writers and she seemed to love the idea.

She did with Britney Jean :heart2:

OP said "record" and Britney didn't even record half the album :coffee2:

She can if she wants to. I'd argue that Blackout is her most persona record judging by what she said in the book. Some of her unreleased songs from that era are amazing and yet so haunting as it highlights some of the darkness in her life at the time.

In her book she mentions that she was heavily involved with glory and blackout so she has it in her… considering those 2 records are some of her best

She doesn't need to write everything by herself she just needs to be in control of the narrative

I want something with her deep vocals, i still want pop, but she could ventured into other stuff.
