Which songs would you pull a Picture to Burn ("Gay Rights!") on?

 

I have a few that I'd revamp off top of my head:

 

I'd completely change Moves Like Jagger (since it's an open secret that Mick Jagger SA'd minors & done some other egregious things) to Moves & Swagger (maybe stylized as Swagga so it sounds better iuno) 

 

I'd also rework some lines in IKAG: 

 

"It felt so wrong, it felt so right, don't mean I'm in love tonight" 

 

to

 

"You'd say it's wrong, it felt so right, might mean I'm in love tonight"

 

and:

 

"It's not what good girls do, not how they should behave"

 

to 

 

"It's not what most girls do, not how they do behave"

A lot of Native Americans don’t like the term. 

I have OCD (diagnosed by a psychiatrist) so I have a thing with anything too negative like that Kesha song where she says she is gonna die young, just that lyrics, make me not listen to it, so I would get rid of that.

 

There is a Kate Bush song I love called "And so is love" where she says "life is sad and so is love", I would listen to the song and always think "no, life is good and so is love" lol, she ended up changing the lyrics to "life is sweet and so is love" on her album "Director's Cut" where she remade several of her songs. So this was ideal for me!

 

This is one of the reasons I don't hear Lana, cause she romanticizes this kind of negativity, and I just don't want to have this ideas in my head. This also why I cant stand 95% of hip-hop rap, although I love the hip hop instrumentals, I don't to have the ideas of romanticizing crime and putting money above all things in my head. I do love a god lyricist rapper but we know they are rare these days, I love the intelligent play of words around a concept, but I can't stand "i have cars, i have mansions, i'm the best because my money" it makes cringe.

Whenever I sing Just Like Jesse James, I change “cryin’ ‘Indian’” to “cryin’ ‘end it’.” Means the same thing, basically sounds the same.

Also Candy by Doja Cat sounds transphobic I would just erase the song entirely. Idk how to rework it.
