After much hype onine, Addison Rae released her anticipated EP just 5 weeks ago, yet it is already forgotten. She has no songs charting anywhere in the world, the EP only received 13,5M total streams despite playlisting, and the most watched youtube upload only has 339K views.

 

What went wrong?

 

Was there any promo? 

this was a cute little present for the gays who were rallying for her after the leaks. no promo or anything. it was never going to actually smash, but it had a cute little cultural moment that will work in her favor when she starts her debut album era. 

She should be thankful she even came. 

 

Girl's got nothing to offer. The fact that she's bff with Kourtney Kardashian says it all 

It felt like she was kinda there.

Where did she came? She certainly made no noise, not a splash. 
 

she can go back to tiktok and do those more cheerleader routines

Loving this EP so much. This had almost no promo besides one or two interviews and it was released wayyy too late.

she's not even signed to a major label, come on now. that ep was a cute little gift to the fans and it certainly had a cute little online moment

art not charts. she delivered quality and her new niche will be checking for her next release

 

hopefully no leaks or other sabotaj next time 

she and most of tiktokers lost their hype very quickly. sad cause the music actually bops.

People want singers who seem to actually care about music as opposed to influencers using music to stretch their 15 minutes 

She only has a few songs officially released. She needs a full album to continue the hype.
