the sound is still very much focused. ironically that same colorful bangers to some is very overproduced and can be grating as it can be aggressive and very loud and in your face. if they want to dominate the globe they're gonna need to find a medium because a track like girls ain't gonna click with everyone. the girls themselves aren't even a fan of that track lol what generic edm records have they given us? if that is a reference to hold on tight it was part of a soundtrack and still very well within their sonic landscape.

reading again, I should have used better words tbh (english is not my first language lol), but I was trying to say that I love their edgy metallic sharp eletronic sound, specially when there’s a mystery/darkness to it. the savage ep is perfect to me, but every project after that doesn’t hit me as hard.

100% agree. they’ve become the more electronic version of red velvet and that is not a compliment.

I always thought it was weird that people were shading them for using a Raye demo when Raye is one of the most talented new artists out there and has had a hand in delivering some of the best pop music in sometime
