I'm not a big fan of shows like The X Factor, but when talent like this comes along, I can't slate it. She's going to be around in 20 years. She's the next Whitney. She takes my breath away.

  • Not only did it not hit #1, it couldn't even make top 70 year end    She went from churning out 13-15x platinum hits to a 2x platinum lead single and it would be her last top 10 hit ever

Stupid Love being extremely stable, which is a good sign.

When all those chart prediction pages predicted that Levitating would go #1... just for Leave The Door Open to score another week at the top :gaycatina1:

Me predicting the most successful re-recording to sell 75k during the first week at most.

A reverse “Look Out Beyonce, Tinashe is Coming” expedition :rip:

Not a prediction that failed terribly but Pitchfork predicted Ellie Goulding could be the sound of either 2012 or 2015 when they reviewed Lights back in February 2010, and funnily enough she ended up releasing new albums in those exact years and her two most ubiquitous hits (Lights and Love Me Like You Do) also ended up smashing in those respective years.

What? No :rip: Ashanti was pretty big in 2001-2004 and her debut album till this day has the highest first week sales for a debut artist. Her peak was in 2002, a year before Beyoncé’s debut and she flopped after Beyoncé smashed.

I thought As It Was sounded like a flop lead single

Lmao I remember

OT: That Harry's contract with Columbia was too big and he'd flop

That Olivia Rodrigo was waiting too long for her second era and she'd absolutely flop

That Dua Lipa would remain "faceless"

Came here to say all the delusionals that were collapsing when she announced her return with Rise just for it to underperform and then again pre Witness with them warning everyone she was gonna be smashing left and right just for it the absolute disaster that was to unfold.

Lots of fanbases especially BTS has done this and Billboard has consistently rewarded them. Dua had that No.1 until they delayed the chart.
