Category is...fan favorites, cult classics, career transitions

Two of her most important records to date, they both shifted the direction of her career. Upon release for each it felt like Lana was charting new territory and evolving as an artist. Which album is your favorite?

UV stomps in all categories i fear!

Wow. Two of her top 3 albums.., and neither is top 1

 

UV is so much better but her two most important albums are BTD and NFR not UV

NFR for the first two, for sure. Tbh, I find UV musically to be really overrated. But UV's imagery is a lot cooler, as well as more consistent.

Idk, Let Me Love You Like a Woman demo oozed effortless talent and charisma....

UV is a perfect album (including GODS and Roses), NFR has one filler which is California. so UV wins

What is then 

NFR is objectively her best but the production on UV is my favorite by her. The album is so nostalgic so she wins on all of these 

So hard to pick one but NFR wins I think. Only because I don't really like The Other Woman

I do LOVE Ultraviolence though!!

I prefer NFR (slightly) and I consider it the better album overall, but UV's rock/psychedelic production wins for me. It's also the perfect sad summer night in the veranda/balcony album.

 

NFR/Honeymoon are such summer albums to me as well, but they have a different vibe.

Norman for all. She definitely worked harder to cultivate an aesthetic both musically and visually with UV, but it's just a bit more self-indulgent and generally more effort to listen to and experience than NFR, which is such an effortless classic. That said, Old Money is better than anything on NFR.
