Ugh, pretty difficult to choose between these two pop gems, but letting Style edge out a bit. 

Style, by a hair. Both of these are among her best pop songs. 

Cruel Summer is overrated and not even in her 50 best songs. The stanning is so ridiculously over the top. 

Style is among her 10 best songs.  Cruel Summer is among her 100 best.  (Maybe 50 best...but still).  However, both are 10/10 pop songs. Well...maybe style is an 11/10 pop song.

Style is my second favourite song by her so it wins. Cruel Summer is somewhere in the top 10.

Style easily. I never gagged for atrocious summer 

Style still clears, I've overplayed the song to death and I still can't get enough of it.

I love both, but I prefer Style

I stan Dianna but Cruel Summer ended that FAD.

cruel summer gets overpraised because it comes from such a bad album where it has no competition (except for afterglow and title track).

Style.... because of the intro 

Style, hands down. Cruel Summer is criminally overrated in the fanbase. Rhyming 'ooooh ooooh woah huh' with 'cruel summer' is one of her lowest songwriting moments. Worse than Bad Blood, truly. The production is rough as hell too. The cut to the bridge from the second chorus is so jarring. I could go on.

Style is among her best songs ever and cruel summer isn’t even in the upper half of its parent album 

Style....by far. It's one of her best songs ever.

 

Cruel Summer is excellent but it's not even the best among its sisters.

Style's iconic synth intro alone blows it out of the water

I mean, as much as I sh*t on Style, it's still better than Cruel Summer. CS is so overrated. Like, it's a cute lil song, but that's it
