Prism clears. ARTPOP was the biggest disappointment as a huge Gaga stan at the time and was the beginning of the end of my obsessive stanning.

i voted for Artpop because i will always fight for this misunderstood masterpiece 

 

but it's a close fighy because Prism is Katy's best album.  

Walking On Air, Double Rainbow, By The Grace of God Top 3 tracks 

Both great. But ARTPOP has my heart.

Prism gets the singles, but it's not super fair in that department cause the Artpop era was a total mess and deserved to have been prolonged

 

Artpop is definitely the better album overall though, it's a total trip

As an album listen/experience, ARTPOP just snatches. A fun chaotic experience that honestly gets overhated. PRISM is a lovely album though. Ghost and Spiritual  Neither are the best of the respective artists but are welcome entries in their discographies.

However, I'd say that PRISM is one Katy's better sounding albums.

PRISM stomps on the awful album that was outdated before it was released. 

 

Swine, Manicure, Jewels and Drugs and Dope are some of the worst songs of all time. 

ARTPOP has just the personality. You can't argue that songs like Dope/JnD, although considered bad songs by some, has less personality than prism tracks like Ghost/Love Me/This Moment.

While Prism is the better album and has the better cover.

 

ARTPOP has the better singles. The only one with potential Gaga missed was Gypsy, while Katy not only failed to release Legendary Lovers and Walking On Air but also released Birthday instead.

ARTPOP may have been a colossal flop but at least it's not as generic and soulless as Prism

This, I do like some tracks on Artpop but half the album is recycled edm songs that unfortunately missed the mark. 

 

Prism's deep cuts like By the Grace of God & Choose Your Battles are miles better than any of Artpops deep cuts.
