I love it so much  I never listened to the snippets before 

It sounds so hollow, I feel bad listening to it, not candy painted. Who did this to her vocals?

Very hollow. It doesn't feel warm and fun. Feels demo-y. Maybe tiktok will save it though with a remix version and then they'll make that an official version. 
 

The party room snippet version is the best one. Still can be song of the summer. Go Normani! 

it's cute but it definitely feels a bit empty. they should've added a trumpet and a slightly heavier bass because it would've gave a little more of a nola vibe & it would've made it perfect imo cause it definitely needed some horns in those pockets.

It's good but the production feels weird. It's like the song keeps building up but it doesn't really pay off

I noticed they slightly pitched down Candy Paint in the Dopamine first dose teaser, I wonder why?

it's a bit concerning that after all this time, Candy Paint and 1:59 are the best they have to offer. you can say Normani is for the arts all you want, but the art is not arting.

 

nevertheless grateful to have this bop in HQ.
