Second singles from their respective acclaimed albums. Which song do you prefer?

Cuff It no contest.

 

Jessie's music is great but I just feel like she doesn't have the voice for that kind of music. Her delivery falls flat most of the times and it's what has kept me from going back to her stuff after initial listens. Ironically enough those songs would be elevated if they were sung by Beyonce. 

 

Someone do their AI magic and have her sing them. Or even better, make Donna summer sing them

 

10 vs. 10 but I pref Cuff It cause welp 

Cuff It is a 10/10 to me

Pearls is an 8/10

Hmm. I think I'll go with Cuff It (which is prob my 4th or 5th favorite from Ren) over Pearls (which is prob my 5th or 6th favorite from TFG). Both 10s though from talented queens from albums of the year of their respective year.

Cuff It has higher highs. From that 3rd Verse to the bridge. It has more layers in general.

I’ve been feeling very alone in this opinion, but I agree. Her dance music feels so hollow and joyless and even borderline disingenuous.   Usually I’m a fan of when artists venture into dance music but her earlier, slower stuff was way more enjoyable.

 

Cuff It, meanwhile, is excellent!

i don't even like Cuff It but that new Jessie Ware album is not It and Pearls is the worst song on there
