Possibly the 2 most timeless songs of the 2000s - the way they could be released today and still smash :jonnycat:

Complicated is cute, but Since U Been Gone has power and flavor.

Since U been gone is a game changer, trend setter, one of the most important track in modern pop music. It really change the circumstances of the radio, and it is the mother of following pop-rock songs like Hot N Cold, this is the reason why it’s so high on Rolling Stones all time greatest songs

SUBG for all three

i hated complicated until about 2 years ago cause i misheard the lyrics “honesty promise me I’m never gonna find you faking”. I thought she said “honestly you telling me I’m never gonna find ya bacon” it confused the hell out of me. I was like why does she want his bacon. Thought it was a weird Canadian thing :bibliahh:

I’m in a small town in the Galilee (Israel) where people barely speak English and their radio station played Complicated like 2 hours ago

Since U Been Local wishes

I'm an OKH. But Kelly, sweetieeeee :bibliahh:

Since u Been Gone is MILES better

I love both, but “Since U Been Gone” for all and it’s not even close. :alexz:

I feel like SUBG has that global generation-crossing appeal that Complicated lacks. Also a 17 year old emo saying „life‘s like this“ will never not be cringe. :giraffe:

Complicated sweetie, I'm so sorry :rip:

both songs are iconic, but the songwriting on Avril's debut is just another league

Since U Been Gone for all three, but I do love Complicated too! but Since U Been Gone is just the textbook definition of pop perfection :clap3:

I can't stop thinking about the late Brittany Murphy every time I listen to ''Complicated'' :sosad:

It just has a nostalgic feel to it.

Since U Been Gone for all, it's more anthemic and impactful.

Nothing against Avril, but "Let Go" has many better tracks.
