Do you know of any reliable shipping services that I can go through to do this? I've never done anything like that before, and for as much as these damn hoodies cost on her site, I want to make sure I'm not getting scammed. In other news, the live album is AMAZING. I truly felt like I was at one of her Vegas shows listening to this album. That one-two-three punch of "When We Were Young," "Hold On" and "Someone Like You" at the end had me full on SOBBING. I hope it (eventually) gets a wider release.

I think I asked this back in November, but do any American Daydreamers have any advice on how to get any of the European/UK exclusive merch? I connected with a few people through Twitter that were supposed to help me get a 21 hoodie, but it fell through. I am DYING to have that damn hoodie! In other news, my best friend got me a vinyl record player for Christmas and I've been waiting for the Vegas album to come to use it. Guess what's coming Friday! Hopefully she puts it on streaming eventually, too!

Someone on Twitter pointed out that if you watch the video she posted on Instagram where the box set is opened up, when it flips through the book, you can see her signature in white on the back cover. Not sure if it's just printed on or if she did actually sign them, but if she did, then I'll have a much easier time getting behind that $400 price point, to be honest. I still think that's a ridiculous cost, but it would justify the higher price at least a little more.

Adele
I CANNOT believe I just spent almost $400 on that box set. Hopefully she releases it on CD and streaming, too. Side note — any British/European Daydreamers here who would be willing to help me get the 21 hoodie? It's only available on the UK and European merch stores and they won't do international shipping, but I am DYING to have it. If anyone can help, please PM me!

I thought about it, but I'm pretty much completely off Twitter at this point. I'll search around and see if I can come across one somewhere. I'm less concerned about the book, but I have yet to see anybody selling any of the album hoodies. They should REALLY sell that stuff online, the fans would go crazy for it! There's no merch on her website at the moment, which I honestly kind of hate. Hopefully they'll add whatever's left over to the website once the Munich shows are done.

Adele
Is anybody going to the last two Munich shows? I'm DYING to get one of those 21 hoodies and a copy of the program book, but haven't seen any hoodies sold online and the books are being sold for $200+ on eBay.

Adele
Yup, a few people have posted it to YouTube now. I'm also pretty sure the version that leaked is the demo and not the final version that almost made the cut for 21.

"Saviour" finally leaked in its entirety.

I’m obviously not thrilled she’s extending the residency instead of going on tour, but I’ve resolved that if this is the last opportunity I’ll have to see her live for a while, I’m going to at least attempt to get tickets. I have three of my friends, my sister and my mom all signed up for presale codes, too, so hopefully I have at least a halfway decent chance of getting tickets. Does anyone have a breakdown of what ticket prices looked like for the last few legs of the residency?

Worst multi-week female #1 hit from this decade so far?
“Break My Soul” and it’s not even close.

This. I would love for her to bring the blog back, though.

Not sure if anybody saw this tweet, but allegedly Adele’s announcing something this month. I usually don’t feed into accounts like that, but they’ve been spot on with several leaks recently, including information for big artists like Taylor and Nicki, so maybe the drought is ending soon after all.

I’m really happy to see she extended the residency and is doing a concert film. Hopefully that means we’re getting a live album, too, and she better put this one on streaming services. (While she’s at it, she can put Live at the Royal Albert Hall and her iTunes Festival EPs on streaming, too. ) It’s pretty unlikely that I’ll be able to swing the Vegas shows — no matter how I look at it, there’s just no way it’s realistically in my budget right now — but I signed up for the Verified Fan presale just in case something changes in the next couple of weeks. Maybe I’ll win the lottery or something. I do empathize with what she said last night about not being able to maintain/rebuild a life for her son after the divorce if she went on tour, but I do hope she does a proper tour for the next album because even though Vegas is convenient for her, it’s just not financially feasible for a large portion of her fan base.

Complicated vs. Since U Been Gone
I love both, but “Since U Been Gone” for all and it’s not even close.

Miley Cyrus - 'Endless Summer Vacation'
This album just gets better with every listen. Miley really delivered one of the best albums of the year.

Miley Cyrus - 'Endless Summer Vacation'
Some of y’all are doing too much. I thought the album was great. “Jaded” is one of Miley’s best songs ever, in my opinion.

Not that the Jonas Brothers are even remotely a threat in album sales, but they had a new album scheduled for May 5 and pushed back the release date a week without any given reason. As someone pointed out a few pages back, her birthday is on a Friday this year, so maybe we’re getting her self-titled fifth album on 5/5. (I know it’s 100% not happening, but let me be delusional for a minute. )

P!nk - 'TRUSTFALL'
I think all of P!nk’s albums post-The Truth About Love have definitely lacked the edge of her earlier music, but I’ve still loved all of them, and Trustfall is no exception. Sonically, it feels like a continuation of Beautiful Trauma and Hurts 2B Human in a lot of ways, so it’s a pretty commercially safe album, but I’d argue it also has some seriously stellar standout tracks on it. So far, I think “Our Song” and “Lost Cause” are my favorites. This album is definitely a grower, so hopefully it takes off and she can get at least a couple hits out of it.

Your fave's best single artwork ever.
The entire aesthetic of the 21 era was FLAWLESS. Back when Adele actually put effort into her single covers.

100% agreed. Every time I listen to 30, I’m continuously amazed by what a soul-bearing, brilliantly cohesive body of work it is. There’s something to be said for the fact that I’m not even 30 yet and haven’t gone through a divorce, and yet I feel like I feel everything she did when she made the record every time I listen to it. I’m really disappointed that 30 as an album wasn’t honored in any way, shape or form. I also didn’t listen to Harry’s House in its entirety, but from the stuff I did hear, I wasn’t overly impressed; that being said, I DID listen to Renaissance in its entirety and also did not feel like that was the Album of the Year, nor do I think the impact it had came anywhere close to the previous two or three albums Beyoncé released. Great minds think alike! I know she’d like to have more kids, and I totally get it, but good Lord, does she realize how painstakingly agonizing it is to have to wait this long in between eras without her doing ANYTHING? I would be more okay with the lengthy breaks if she didn’t fall off the face of the earth, but especially considering how half-assed the promo was this era, I think she needs to do something — a movie theme, an acting gig, anything really — to make the wait more bearable.

In retrospect, I still don’t believe Lemonade deserved Album of the Year, but I would’ve rather seen it win over 25 and have her win Album of the Year for 30 this year, to be honest. As much as I love 25, I just think 30 continues to age like fine wine and is truly some of her best work. I’m disappointed the Grammys didn’t give it the recognition it deserves, outside of Best Pop Solo Performance. I really hope she doesn’t take another lengthy hiatus before the next album. At least the last hiatus is somewhat justified because she did the world tour, promoted the album pretty extensively, went through a divorce and dealt with production delays as a result of COVID, but this time around, she does not have an excuse. I’m not waiting another 6+ years for an album. We need something sooner.

Adele
Harry did not seriously beat her for Album of the Year, too. I think I would’ve rather Beyoncé won, to be honest. What an absolute joke.
-
Adele
Not her saying she just came to watch and then ending her speech with “good night.” She’s not doing a surprise performance and she’s not winning anything else.
-
Adele
Let me be delusional and assume they’re making her lose in all these smaller categories so she can dominate the big three.
