Was Rih's SB setlist horrible?

Featured Replies

Did she omit some songs that deserved moments? Did she give some songs too much shine that didnt deserve it? Did the sequencing make sense?

How would you have changed Rih's SB setlist?

The songs performed were correct just wish she did DSTM, PDR & SOS. The mashups could’ve been better tho ngl.

Rihanna has such a colossal range of hit songs that her set-list would’ve never pleased everyone, especially the Navy.

There’s Pop Rihanna, Dance Rihanna and Urban (R&B/Hip-Hop) Rihanna.

Hypothetically, she could’ve focused on her 2000’s hits more but then a lot of her 2010’s hits might have been omitted.

It was similar to Madonna’s SuperBowl performance in a way. :rip:

not horrible but we needed her early hit songs like Pon De replay, SOS and DSTM. Work and Wild thoughts could have been omitted.

It was a very good setlist, I just wish there was a better opening song and that the songs had more time to shine each.

I mean….yes and no. She can’t please everybody because she has a massive amount of hit songs. However, she did her best to cater to most of her causal fans. Newer fans, older fans, pop fans, hip-hop fans, collab fans, and dancehall fans all got a little something. She even had a bit for the gays with pose’s interpolation.

It would be a challenge for her to have a "horrible" set list. We all have our favorite hits that may have been left out considering the fact that she has so many of them in the first place, but it was fine overall.

Setlist fine as is. I wanted more cake but I got a little bit of cake

Yes, yes it was. Wild thoughts? Pour it up?? Run This Town really??? All of the ligts are you ******* kidding me?

Literally nobody asked for these and she omitted much better and recognisable hits. Pon The Replay? PDSTM?? Disturbia???

There were also too many songs and neither really got the moment and shine it deserved, with signature hits like Umbrella and WFL getting like 1 min or less :skull:

The arrangements were kind of annoying too, the magic of Rude Boy was just not there.

2/10 for the effort sorry not sorry.

I mean it would’ve been fine if it was her tour but as SB setlist… yeah it was horrible

She has enough hits to do another superbowl if she wanted to. (Disturbia, DSTM, Love On The Brain, This Is What You Came For etc.)

No, but ***** Better Have My Money was such a bad opener. :toofunny2: Like the song has no impact when it's censored!

It was definitely iconic though :clap3:

Absolutely NOT! She gave you attitude, bangers, pop classics, urban anthems, and finished off with a soaring ballad.....the setlist was hit after hit and that's what a SB performance should give....

I do wish she would've replaced WT with DSTM tho

Pour It Up, All of the Lights and Run This Town for Disturbia, DSTM

no.

It’s been 8 days of straight acclaim and success aside from deranged Cheeto Puff stans so please stop looking a clown
