well Chromatica had music videos so 

I guess Chroma at least she did 3 videos & a VMAs perfomance 

 

 

Both eras are boring 

We can call Chromatica an era for starter... I guess this answers your question

please we all know renaissance is not even an era

The 911 mv, VMA performance and tour really made it an era.

The Chromatica tour was excellent, but The Renaissance tour will more than likely stomp it tf out. It’s basic science. I won’t even touch the visual subject. It’s hard to speak of it as an era… especially when some old **** from a private show in Dubai was her most viral moment. 
 

Other then that, Chromatica was at least present, visually speaking. She did what she could, but it was ultimately cut short due to the pandemic which was unfortunate. Replay was right there waiting.

Chromatica. It actually felt like an event (in the first few weeks atleast). 
Renaissance literally came and went which is shocking for a Beyonce release. 

At least MTV's Tricon Award forced Gaga to show up and we got 2 great mvs during the pandemic, Renaissance's has been a bore since day 1.

Chromatica era had a top 5 song and a #1 hit with 3 music videos.

Well only one is an era, so congrats on winning by default 

i think it’s interesting how everyone acted like chromatica was such an awful era (which was still occurring during the peak of the pandemic) when we’ve seen eras like renaissance and also midnights that haven’t even got one live performance… i think most artists nowadays who are established truly just aren’t interested in traditional promo especially after covid allowed them to put the album out and dip

Chromatica Ball was the #1 Female Tour of 2022, so it’s safe to say it’s an era.

Despite the Chromatica era being short-lived and ultimately getting derailed, I'm still grateful that we got what we got - 3 music videos (with 911 being a videography highlight), a global summer smash, an amazing VMAs night celebrating her career with multiple looks, a live performance, a Grammy win, a fire remix album, and an INCREDIBLE stadium tour.

I don't know what's happening behind-the-scenes but I genuinely hope Beyoncé is fine.

The one with a #1 top 40 year end smash and top 10 bop with longevity 

both eras kinda sucked but at least Gaga had a valid excuse

Renaissance was just an album release, but still Renaissance.

At least someone attempted to relaunch an "era" multiple times with Chromatica while the other one was just a hit and run

Gaga at least gave us the bare minimum and this was during the worst year of the pandemic.  Ren doesn’t even have an era, it was an album drop and nothing more.  Pretty soon most of our faves are going to be following.
