There's the 'é' like Beyoncé so I always thought it was Sim-o-ney but whenever her name was said in the press it was Si-moan

The Twitter thread lol never mind

Oh nevermind you meant the Twitter thread. Ehm no I don’t click any links on ATRL lmao… no I’m a drag race mega fan and in episode 1 of all stars 2 she’s a judge and Rupaul makes reference to how to pronounce her name correctly. What’s so unbelievable about that ? :rip:

It’s actually pronounced “from every continent on Africa and Europe”.

Wouldn't it be known as ''Sim-moan-ay''? An accented E is an ''ay'' sound not ''yay''.

Her and Lindsay Lohan are atleast 30 years past when they should have said something because... good luck.

She has said this many times and in a radio interview for her self-titled album she said she went with the GP pronunciation because it was more marketable.

lol I'm thinking this is what happened with Rihanna name. I remember when Rih first came out and her very early interviews, radio pick ups, etc. She would pronounce her name as REE-ANN-A but everyone just kept saying REE-YON-A so now I think she just goes with it. I'd be a little annoyed if I was their mothers lol.

Monet Xchange won an argument against Bob...

But be real Raven was told to say her name was Simon (and not Symoné) back when she was litterally 4 years old. Then with Disney channel she didn't have any other choice than following the flow.
