I love Miley, she's an amazing talent. But this song honestly feels like something she could have released during Younger Now or her mini Mark Ronson era. It sounds dated on arrival and pretty underdeveloped sonically & production wise. 

 

It's totally cool that the whole ex-boyfriend shade buzz trick is working commercially but people are acting like she stepped it up a notch quality wise when this is probably one of her weakest singles in recent memory and thus overrated, do you agree?

It's uninspiring, which is part of what makes the smashing surprising and suspect. Won't be the first time the geepee has served a lack of taste though.

It's cute song but certainly missing some oomph and a bigger punch. I'm mostly happy for Miley and I'm sure she has better classics on the album.

 

I think it's cute and catchy but yeah, def not her best. The GP usually doesn't stan an artist's best music though.
