lol don't worry. I only noticed it a few years ago listening to an Essentials playlist of his, and I realized almost all the songs were about cheating, even in Yeah! he's dancing with his girlfriends ex-best friend at the club:

I'm assuming you mean more loving R&B songs and upbeat R&B songs. I like some of the more vibe-y R&B music of today but a lot of it is low-vibrational sounding. I  do find myself pining for past eras of R&B, especially where vocals and melodies are concerned, though I do feel like its been slowly coming back in the last year or two. Muni Long's Hrs and Hrs has everything a great modern R&B ballad should have and it was one of the biggest R&B hits of last year.

yep lol even in his teens. I love Ush but he be on some bullshit sometimes. He's lucky he's from a time in R&B when the music was still crafted down to the letter. A well written song with a great melody and hook will make the average listener not even realize what they singing about half the time.
