She served so much during this era 

 

I would love for her to revisit this style again one day. She still rocks the platinum blonde with cherry lips since that's her signature look but Back To Basics was her best era in terms of looks.

I love this era of hers but it's so overrated

Her best era for visuals and her second best era for music. 

Jordan Bratman was one lucky mother effer for looking the way he did and being married to Xtina during this era

True. Thank goodness their son looks more and more like Xtina as he gets older. 

I saw classic ATRL being annoyed/tired with this serve. They had no idea how good they had it back then. 

I was very surprised by this album because with the exception of a few songs, the album really didn't sonically fit the narrative she was pushing.

 

ANOM, Candyman, SMFM, MoM, and The Right Man were album highlights.

 

I think this album would've done more if it weren't for Amy Winehouse doing the same thing and doing it better.

All the photoshoots, videos and performances were a SERVE. (Shame she didn't the milk the era more)

 

The album is a bit too long for my taste tho, and there was no need to divide it into two discs. A one-disc 50-minute album would've been perfect (or maybe 60, since the material is there).

As I Am, Back to Basics, Back to Black.... 2006 was a great year for oldschool pop music

 

Without You, On Our Way and Save Me from Myself are career highlights

 

I miss Baby Jane so much. I miss her drive.

Slow Down Baby was a lost gem tho. Could be iconic second or third single.

She was the definition of TABS during that era

may people say Stripped was her peak buy to me this was Xtina's peak in terms of being a pop star and celebrity overall. her revamped image (the press was very complimentary for once), the looks, the performances, the tour, she was a newlywed and got pregnant shortly after. 

 

Loving to see all the "Understand", "Save Me from Myself" and "Slow Down Baby" stanning. All three deserved way more!

 

Her beauty was incredible during this period. She served everything, face, body, hair, outfits 

 

Unsurprisingly her music during that time was also excellent. Legend X circa. 2006 was the truly the gift that kept on giving

The music videos were the best of her entire career.

The era where she looked so stunning daily that even her pap pictures looked like professional photoshoots. 

"Understand" and "Slow Down Baby" deserved to be singles too with retro-styled music videos. I hope we get a BTB 2.0 someday

I've always thought a slick back sexy video like the shoot used for the single cover and a remix with a popular hip hip guy like Kanye at that time would have been so good as a single.

Yeah the album feels a bit long and doesn't have enough "commercial" or "boppy" tracks that would make obvious singles, but whatever. What bothers me the most is she couldn't bother to add 3 minutes more to make it's sales be counted as a double album. The sales would be double and it would make sense considering how expensive the album is 

 

I have the physical version and it was pretty pricey, but I have to say the casing and photobook was really good.
