It is highly likely for this reason. SM did the same thing with Red Velvet. They released an English ver. of RBB, but they have no U.S. label. It was simply so they could perform it in the U.S/Canada part of the tour.

NCT Dream did have a U.S label. It was Virgin Music (same as aespa originally) but I think they got dropped sometime in 2021.

 

They used to post about the group but stopped after 2021. And a source from Billboard confirmed they were no longer involved in releases, but may be again in the future.
