I don't know how a documentary/training content pre-debut will work for a YG girl group but we'll see I guess

 

2NE1 & BLACKPINK were pretty mysterious/unknown to the public girls pre-debut so this will be new to us

NewJeans is 6/6 for me, OMG is top 3 with HypeBoy and Ditto. What a discog they are here to stay! I can't believe people here still saying that they could be dudzy's or aesfad when none of these groups were able to get 3 songs in top 5 at the same time nor charted in US Spotify chart in multiple days! NewJeans have not only secured a bulk buying fandoms, they have also secured the global streaming fandoms and are now making a name in Japan, on top of being a phenomenon in korea right now. They will grow even bigger when hybe will market them in the west because unlike SM and JYP, Hybe has the experience on how to effectively market a group in the west!

I think the 7 girls are fixed already. This is just like a documentary to introduce the members and to showcase the girls skills and talents.

How about BigBang? BigBang started with a documentary too, It's actually a YG thing but it's the first time they will do it for their female group. Also 2ne1 and BlackPink members were already known before they debuted.

Why are people acting as if Haerin is the main vocal of NJ around here? Don't get me wrong, she's my favorite but Hanni and Danielle are clearly the lead and main vocal of that group. Also Minji is suddenly vocally challenged apparently??? She doesn't sound much different to anyone else in the group tbh.

yeah, bigbang too. its pretty normal for all YG boy groups to have a pre-debut documentary/survival show content even akmu and lee hi were from survival shows but its new for the girl groups. 2NE1 and BLACKPINK members were kinda known like park bom, jennie and rose because of their bigbang/gdragon features but that's it and they still weren't 100% confirmed to debut

 

its kind of a dated concept but its yg so what do we expect

No, the members are fixed

its just a documentary of seeing them being put together and performances showing their skills from my understanding

So it seems like Baemon have secured their mini lisa with this thai lil girl

 

A lisa that can sing 

And they are safe with 'no singers' allegation as well with this little girl which apparently is not even the main vocalist

The 2 "unknown" members are apparently Japanese that's why no info for them so far. The visual is apparently one of the Japanese members which automatically disqualify her from being an IT Girl but they already secured the Jennie 2.0 so there's that

Yeah. And I don’t think she even got the most line distribution for any songs. To me, I thought Hanni is the main vocalist. And I swear I feel like Hyein also got quite a lot of lines

I feel like Hyein gets a lot of lines because despite them not having "official postions" it's quite clear what their positions are and to them, Hyein is the center. Hanni and Danielle are definitely meant to be lead/main vocals, while Haerin and Minji are the dancers to round out the group.
