I mean he does market himself to the american market (radio, music in English..),  but he still promotes A LOT in South Korea.

I don't think it's we should disqualify him as a kpop artist yet.

 

Money is also a worldwide hit, and I'm sure she won't release korean single anymore, but I don't think people will disqualify her as a kpop artist that quickly.

It's also a matter of time until newjeans completely switches

If it comes from a Korean label, then it's Kpop no matter the language. Kpop is not just a genre but a whole system, and if you're part of that system, then you're Kpop
