I finally understand why EXO-Ls want more comebacks and promotions. Listening to Lucky One and wow, why is their discography sounding like electric wine aged finely for the next evolutionary leap of homo sapiens? Like, **** off.  This music is hitting harder than a wrecking ball. SM's male vocalists are outta this world I gotta say.

For ATEEZ I would recommend their ZERO:FEVER Part.3 mini-album. I loved this EP and it's perfect for more chill bops.

 

 

 

Utopia is another good, more chill ATEEZ B-side (they even made it a Japanese title track) from a different mini-album:

 

 

Jongho was going IN with his VOCALS!   I love love love the woahs in the chorus.

 

This side of ATEEZ is what almost turned me into a stan. I might have to try the rest of their discography one day. Skimming through their new mini-album... I can see what you mean, it is more aggressive and noisy than my recs here which I don't particularly like. When I listen to ATEEZ, I mainly listen to that one ZERO:FEVER Part.3 EP + the Utopia song and maybe their debut tracks lol I feel like a 1/4 stan

 

This album is also fantastic for their more chill side:

 

 

In particular their piano ballad Be With You is stunning:

ATEEZ is sooo my style when they do this kind of music, whyyyy  

 

It's giving me TXT. I prefer TXT when they do pop/dance than all the rock. I like some of the rock like Everlasting Shine, a legendary song, but it is a bit much sometimes especially when they comeback and it's rock... and you have to wait 1 whole year later and... it's rock again... you have to wait another year again again 

 

 

 

 

I have to check out their discography again though. I feel like I messed up and listened to it wrong somehow, maybe the wrong order?  I only listened to a small chunk too but I wasn't feeling their noisier, more aggressive stuff

Cause right now I'm listening to their ZERO:FEVER EPILOGUE album and yesss  these are the vibesss and the voCALS. Jongho deserves more recognition for that voice!

I won't lie, I don't like most of ATEEZ title tracks but I heard some B-Side the other day, and the music is not bad.

 

I was shocked, I was appalled. I was confused, I was conflicted. I was concerned... But I was intrigued.

So I'm getting into their discography.

Ateez music is not bad, their title tracks mostly are questionable but their discog overall isn’t the worst thing. If I had not heard other boygroups who were already serving what Ateez was serving and more, I probably would have been a fan. Some of the members are quite talented too. So for me it was mostly timing.

The Shinee title is just so bad what's with SM's obsession to turn every group of their into a NCT subunit?

NJ’s concept for ASAP is definitely ICC + 4 Walls esque. It also gave me some RR teaser vibes. RV you’ll always be famous

Speaking of SM Subunits, TTS is still the best SM ever produced.

Notice the versatility and Quality of thier products! Show a 4th Gen SM Stan what SM is capable of when they try different concepts that don’t sound like there label sister & Brother groups! Even when they made Noisy music like Holler, the mini album is still amazing vocally and production wise for the time. And sounds fresher then half of the songs coming out of the company today

no, obviously. concept is cottagecore fairy/elves and none of the mentioned groups have done it. one group had photoshoot and mv in forest, another had blonde hair and apparently min heejin is reusing "concept"

that's fair way to put it imo. after all, the art belongs to the same person. she has learnt from trials and errors and has definitely perfected/refined her sense of art direction.

F(X) did this concept with Electric shock album photoshoot in 2012. But they didn’t have blonde hair😆 they just had a cottage core fairy concept. 

 

but some users here are doing the most as usual. Like it’s the first time a group has a similar image. I still have the physical album and all the photos are them outside in a forest with an elf concept. But still people are overreacting🤣
