Imagine Aespa did the Empress concept. Honestly every SM music video before 2016 just shows you how much the quality has changed.

These were excellent teaser but their respective MVs were stellar too, Taeyeon (she fought for INVU to be the title track) & SM did something right I fear with these releases

New Jeans is very SM-done-right coded that’s the reason I love them from the visuals to concepts to the music all are perfectly executed.

Kpop best gg since SNSD I fear (their presence even feels like peak 2009-2013 SNSD tbh)

I feel the same way. I won’t lie and say they have some good songs, but the lack of focus on the vocal line hurts. I don’t tune into K-pop for rappers, if I did I’d listen to K-rap. I want VOCALISTS front and center.

Listened to ATEEZ's new ep because I was bored and I like Bouncy. 

 

 

It was a onslaught of constant loud sounds and switchups. I am a huge fan of Itzy, NCT, and some SKZ music though so I didn't dislike it. Just was expecting at least one chill bop and got none.

 

All of their music can't be like this though can it? I need to go find a guide on ATEEZ music if I do decide to listen to them again.
