XG is not kpop nor jpop acts, their situation is kind of like everglow, they are not big in korea and no one listen to them in japan too, their target audience is kind of mess they need to sing in korea if they want to cater to kpop audience or maybe adding korean member would help.. Their promotion in korea has received such backlash many knetz want to cancel their appearance in music shows too, thats why im saying niziu had way more advantages and has more chances of succeding if theyeever debuting in korea since they are able to speak korean and coming fron korea agency will help too...

To me, XG is not a K-Pop group. They are not from a Korean company, there are no Korean members, they do not sing in Korean and the CEO of their company hates Korea, so they can't even promote at a higher level in Korea without running into a scandal. 

 

The only link to K-Pop that they have is appearing on Korean music shows and following K-Pop style production and release strategy. That's why international K-Pop fans might find them appealing

 

They are closer to J-Pop, but their Japan fanbase is nearly non-existent. NiziU would be a difficult (but not impossible) sell in Korea though, so I don't agree that they have better chances. I can see why JYP shelved their debut for now.

I did not expect fairycore to be NewJeans main concept of this summer comeback
