Do you guys think kpop’s downfall will happen in a couple years? Idk i’ve been thinking about how these companies are pushing out so many groups, everyones trying to make it in the west, a lot of it is forced… like i even find myself kinda getting tired of it…

Akgaes are awful always and BLINKs as a whole suck, but they’re nothing compared to ELFs. One thing about this industry that turns my stomach is the insane and unsustainable amount of physical sales for everyone across the board. Stans have brainwashed themselves, bulk buy and so the horror that is physicals is gonna F us all up. I hope Korea takes a stand policy wise. and your right it absolutely is insane how many groups are debuting and with how young they are, and NONE of these mfs can sing. I'm not afraid to say im lowkey praying for its downfall, its just been abysmal all around, my staning stopped in the 3rd gen and unless something is done im going to casually watch from the sidelines.

I have nothing against wonyoung and it is not hateful to talk about the obvious PS that EVERYONE in this industry has, the girl is in a dangerous situation as many people have said because of how she is lowkey being held hostage by the GP, not just me. You have issues if you think talking about the misogynistic industry that is plastic surgery somehow makes me a "horrible and disgusting" person. Hmm idk. I've heard about kpop's imminent downfall for a decade now. It's only gotten bigger with time. But I don't think the current rate of physical growth is sustainable.

its sad bcs there used to be a fire to them during eleven. maybe they had a longer period to prepare for their debut or this year has taken a big toll on them mentally but they give 5 year old gg close to contract termination, not the usual rookie drive and freshness. i fear that success came too easy for them and now they're just coasting and taking it for granted.

Boy groups not getting hits doesn't mean the music is terrible, there's great boy group material out there, let's not act like Love Dive / After Like or R2U are the representation of great music lmao
