It’s not 2019 anymore. GG are selling as much as BG. Literally we got like 7 GG last year pulling 1M sales even NMIXX despite their terrible charting can sell. 
the reason why LSR and IVE are famous is because they got 4 Izone girlies. WY is one of the most popular idols, Sakura has been in the industry for a decade. Chaewon and Yujin are growing up their popularity. Like let’s be frR

Japanese releases of songs that already did well on their own are so dumb. Just promote an original song. It's so lazy. Love Dive already did well in Japan to not need or want to do a Japanese version as a single.

Original songs always tank. Not even twice Japanese singles smash compared to their korean cb. TT Japanese version was a huge hit.

When was the last time we had a “Sorry Sorry” or a “Love Scenario” or a “Ring Ding Dong?” Male groups are at an all-time low in history currently for the market share they make up in K-pop. Boy groups are still more profitable than girl groups, since album sales and touring is where the real money is at, and that's where boy groups shines the most. This just isn't anything new. You can't releases something in the same vein as Step Back and expect to to garner the same response. It's old now.

Compare the quality of IZ*ONE's Korean releases with their Japanese. It's like this idea that if it's a Japanese release, the only goal is to get physical sales through handshake events and stuff so no one cares about quality.

 

SNSD and Kara had great Japan careers because they actually put effort into their Japanese releases.

 

Mr. Taxi and Go Go Summer are two of their biggest hits and they're fully original Japanese tracks.

Give us remixes, fun special stages, anything. SM is so bad at doing anything grand and making it a spectacle. They used to be so good at that. Now they can barely put together a decent special stage or end of year remix to any song. It's always just a basic 10 second dance break and then a music show performance.

 

They're by far the most boring company to watch year end.

Something happened in SM they really lost their spark 

I used to love everything about that company and now Most of the stuff they do is lackluster
