Buffy Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 (edited) THEY CAUGHT HIM! Police press conference at 1PM today! https://www.yahoo.com/news/suspect-deaths-idaho-students-arrested-164721546.html A suspect has been arrested in connection with the University of Idaho students murder investigation, federal law enforcement sources confirm to CNN. The arrest was made by the FBI in Pennsylvania, the sources said, and the suspect is described as a man in his 20s. Local police will hold a news conference this afternoon to announce developments in the case. No motive or murder weapon has been identified so far in the killings. The November killing of the four students shook the small college town of Moscow, Idaho — which had not recorded a murder since 2015 — and prompted federal and state investigations. mercurialworld Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 omg finally, i’ve been following this for so long
jakeisphat Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 He's a criminology PhD student at Washington State University - 15 minutes from where they were killed. And they towed the white Hyundai from his house in PA. Prior to moving to Washington for his program, he conducted a study as a masters student in Pennsylvania about how people are thinking and feeling when committing crimes and targeting their victims.

This makes him even scarier.
pxxxtrick Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 I’m so curious to know the reason/motive.

He probably thought he'd get away with it too
Starshine Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 Those dumb ass TikTok detectives should be sued for defamation. They went after the hoodie guy for over a month.

So he murdered teenagers to actually understand what it feels like to kill people? wtf RIP to the victims, hope he is in jail for life.

When you become the monster that you're studying
Tizley Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 Not me going to the same school and studying the same major has him… So glad they caught him. I had a feeling it was a WSU student unfortunately. Spoiler
ThehushSound Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 Local news outlets here in Idaho are saying he was arrested but Law Enforcement haven’t established a connection between him and the victims.
ThehushSound Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 He is going to be charged with 4 counts of nursed and one count of burglary. The fact that no one can connect him to the victims is scary. Why did he choose that house? Why just the 4 victims? How long did he stalk them and plot out these murders? could you imagine some psycho just deciding to meticulously plot out your murder when you have never spoken to or potentially even seen the killer before?

kandicha Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 it sounds like the FBI have been onto him for weeks, followed him all the way from Washington/Idaho to Pennsylvania, and were just waiting to have enough evidence to be able to throw the book at him. the families and everyone in Moscow must be so relieved he was caught.
Coma Baby Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 It was obvious from the get go this wasn’t gonna be a "regular" killer or motive. No one intrudes and murders 4 random harmless college students in their sleep unless it’s a burglary which it wasn’t. If they’d had a personal vendetta against a single individual they’d have only targeted them and more likely in a different, less risky scenario. Suspecting anyone who’d been in close proximity to them and trying to attribute meaning to random things they’d said in recordings was the definition of brainless armchair detectivery. Life isn’t a Netflix mini series (although this is probably gonna end up being one - Ryan Murphy hoping and praying Miss Bryan is a hunty as we speak).
