Normani doesn’t do payola tho. She only does organic hits ala SZA so it might take her a while but she will get there. She’s the definition of slow and steady wins the race! I’m never proven wrong on future legends similarly I always saw it for Jenna Ortega ever since she was Stuck In The Middle I knew she would be big and then boom Wednesday happened. It’s not good to ever write people simply bc they’re not moving on your timeline.

She wasted all of her hype, doesn't have much of a fan base to fallback on, and isn't special enough artistically to make up the difference. She could continue to have some mild success and the odd hit, but I don't see much else for her.

She hasn’t given us any reason to not doubt her

I don’t think anyone doubts her talent. But they definitely doubt she’ll release a debut record, and I don’t blame them.

Why didn't she release this song after Wildside instead of the snoozefest that is Fair? That song did absolutely nothing for her and was an album track at best.

I used to be perched for normani but she’s 2 for 4 on her solo songs. Motivation and fair are not good for real. She’s been promising her album for YEARS now, nobody cares anymore even the nation is over her turning into a socialite. Maybe it’s her label idk
