Why do people come for Normani’s talent as if they knew what she was capable of. Camila is an upcoming fad and just got her last hit with Bam Bam. While Normani still hasn’t released her debut but y’all acting as if when Normani releases her debut album she won’t do better than Camila and most of her peers. This song alone craps on CC whole discography y’all need to respect Normanis talent and wait for excellence ala SZA. Even Fair is a bop ballad.

This is simply unrealistic the only way her album will debut with anything over 20k is if she has a hit as big as Havana. So yeah

 

The only hype she had was on stan Twitter and now they moved on. She'll have to start from scratch again

Big hits don’t equal big albums. SZA didn’t need a big hit to consistently sell CTRL if the quality of Normanis debut is up there she will do amazing numbers. Camila only had Havana and nbts, were in the age of streaming where you don’t need big hits to make it anymore if you consistently release good music it will catch on like SZA and Doja did. They didn’t have big hits in their debuts but are now outperforming most of the girls who had bigs like Savage, Big Energy, Senorita, Envolver. One hit wonders or people who only get massive hits tend to burn out quickly.

Normani needs to drop a debut first

SZA released music through EPs and created a cult following throughout the years... Normani hasn't released anything aside of a few singles that could've been released by any of her peers and her personality on social media is based on pretty photos on IG

It’s going to be 5 years soon since 5H disbanded. Camila was very smart and struck while the momentum was there before the group actually disbanded and has released 3 albums in that time.

Will the public have grace though? Normani may have her reasons, but the public isn’t really interested in the details, even if they’re justifiable. At some point, they move on.
