Well she fell off so hard to the point of having her music produced by stan twitter memes (OnlyFire), so maybe it's for the best.

As someone who has followed her since her since Theme Music / her soundcloud days, she hadn’t done anything note worthy in almost a decade (!!) now. I wish her well. 

I never understood her music career esp since she’s been a huge flop since day 1 and doesn’t have a fan base.

She hasn’t topped her Opulence Ep, but I really loved Flip Phone & Volcano. 

 

Her stuff with Sia & that entire era was atrocious & had me checked out. 

 

She has a rich, porn-industry mogul father, she’ll be fine.  Stream her best song, “Alcohol”. 

that's a shame since Flip Phone is one of her better songs and she was promising her 20 remaining fans another album but oh well 

Why the negativity?

 

Flip Phone is great! She’s a niche independent artist and still manages to serve quality. I hope we get the second album.

Hope that’s not the case. Flip Phone is a banger of a track.

She was signed to RCA at that time

I mean if she isnt making money it makes sense. At least she gave us Flip Phone which i am STILL obsessed with right now.

i always find it strange how brooke was left behind in the 2010s as a niche artist for popper gays (and even those people have moved on from her let’s be real). her fanbase instead of growing seems to have dwindled, meanwhile literally all of her peers were able to grow their audiences and maintain their relevance in the “alternative” space in pop music

flip phone is amazing. song and video.

At least  Grimes gave her one iconic moment   So she can retire knowing she did that in Genesis

Right? 

And everyone she worked with went on to grow and become somewhat relevant: Lizzo, Ashnikko, Bree, Charli, Cupcakke kinda too... while she keeps rotting. 

She was too ahead of her time and as you said, instead of growing, her fanbase withered away. The release of Flip Phone barely increased her Spotify listeners (which are 300k, which considering how much Spotify grew are kinda tragic).

My irrelevant flop fave actually has a fan base hence why she is still able to perform at festivals and eventually tour her album when it’s released in 2050

I think Brooke being left behind was like people say.. she was ahead of her time.

 

When she was signed to RCA and they released Opulence I think the label kinda freaked at the reaction and she lost her way musically with all the interference.

 

Her hype kinda died then and her fans dwindled over the years. Such a shame since she’s still serving quality.
