Haven't they always been flops except for like two songs? Business as usual, it seems.

The snippet was TERRIBLE so I didn’t even check in on the song oops.

I don't think anyone was expecting them to smash  they're not really known for having hit after hit after hit.

Olivia Rodrigo will remain a copycat forever. 

It’s a grower. I can see it becoming a sleeper hit.

I’m sure Olivia is streaming & taking notes

 

They were never big hitmakers to begin with so idk what were you expecting 

 

Also, ever since their self titled album, their lead single choices have been awful... Now is straight up garbage and Hard Times didn't stick with me at first but it was a grower. 

I only listened once and was pretty underwhelmed but I think the song will work well in the context of the whole (ten track ) album in february.

And to be honest, I don't want to listen to it. I want to listen to the album all at once, when it's out.

Don't worry, Olivia will make it a hit later

This. OP is just mad because Hayley gets paid every time his faves song that copied samples Misery Business is streamed/purchased

it's so funny how olivia is the first thing that comes to people's minds when you mention paramore  they will always live in her shadow i fear

I'm sure many old fans haven't bothered to listen to the song. I was a huge fan of Paramore but all the long breaks in between albums since Brand New Eyes + the change in members kinda stopped me from stanning them. It's the same case with Evanescence. Sure, the vocalists are the same, but overall the vibe of the band feels different with different members in each era.
