He’s been PR trained to the point where he has no personality at all. You can be trained and still have a sincerity and humanity to your words.

We all know the answer to this question. The man knows exactly what he’s doing and it’s all pandering. He knows his female fans think this is boundary-pushing and iconic. He won’t come out as a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and refuses to claim to be a part of it, but will insert himself within it for praise and attention. Of course, he’s not required to label his sexuality, but if he’s out here doing all this stuff, why doesn’t he? Or is he really just a heterosexual man doing all this stuff for clout? Cuz if so, that’s lame af

I never said he said he doesn’t support it. I said he hasn’t come out as a supporter. What LGBTQ+ issues has he spoken on or shown support for? There’s a difference between being a supporter and simply never identifying whether or not you are.

He is obviously fake but all the celebrities are like this, they have to kill their personality to fit a mold and reach their targeted audience.

In his case gays are not his target, his target are those old one direction stans and straight girls that fantasize about gay men.

Yeah, this is just pop music. None of the artists we stan would be anything like how they are now if they weren't celebrities. They're entertainers, and everything they do has at least some degree of theatre and performance to it. It's like a costume, in a way.

Everything about him is inauthentic. His personality, his image, his music... everything

I don’t actually care if he is tbh. Sis, this is Hollyweird. Authentic doesn’t exist. It’s all smoke & mirrors.

 

I definitely think his obvious pandering and attention seeking is a bit humorous at times, and most of his outfits are ugly and frumpy lol, but it’s all rather inoffensive and harmless.

 

I give him and his labels props for cultivating him a memorable image that helped him stand out. You can’t deny whatever they’ve done has worked out amazingly.
