Adele will clean up at the Grammys!? Here's why...

Featured Replies

the INDUSTRY is fully backing Miss Adele since her special won all 5 of the nominations, I think she'll clean up at the Grammys as well witch is kinda boring and predictable unless there's another flub at the Vegas show since the opening of her show coincides with the Grammy voting period.

emmys and grammys have wayyy different narratives. lets not set her up now.

Adele could literally release an entire album of her farting into the mic (which is basically what 25 and 30 were anyway) and the scammy's will still give her aoty

The Grammys and Emmys don’t correlate . Different type of voters & narratives.

Anyone who doubted A winning next year is in for a rough ride. Of course she’s clearing at the Grammys her special literally had more views than last years show. And when you put into perspective, she’s done more promo than any of her peers who’ll probably be nominated alongside her besides (Silk Sonic), so she will win.

even with the lackluster promo since january, you kinda right there. i still dont like her chances, but i hope vegas gives her the right momentum to sweep one more time.

The Grammys have been trying so hard to clean up their image these past few years, Adele sweeping would be a big set back for them

Her vocals at Hyde Park were the best they’ve been in years, so Vegas will probably be acclaimed. I don’t think she deserves a full sweep, but she has no competition.

She has the respect of the music industry hence the 99% winning rate at the grammys. And they secretly hate Beyonce hence she only wins in minor genre awards.

They see Beyonce's albums credits and decide not to vote for it kn AOTY category.

Let's not set her up, please, anything could happen. I thought Billie would sweep again at this year's ceremony and she didn't.

For now, she needs to focus on getting her Tony... :gaycat3:

2020s has been wild so far for example Jon won AOTY despite commercial flop and votes-splitting.

She is going to sweep. She hasn't lost a Grammy's nomination yet I think.

Let’s hope so! 30 is fantastic and acclaimed and she is so damn talented  :clap3:

Y’all forgetting Harry’s House

damn! :ahh:

The album came and went and thousands of copies remain unsold in the stores. Stop trying to make this shitty album relevant.

wym votes split??..

I mean old white out of touch and very predictable white men rallying behind mediocrity by a white woman isn’t surprising.
