Remembering "ANTI" on its 9th anniversary
Time really does fly ! Remember the day it was released and enjoyed listened to Love on the Brain for the first time.

Why did the GP pay dust to Rihanna's "Kiss It Better" ?
Dual Release with Needed Me. The GP just gravitated to Needed Me more.

66th Annual Grammy Awards
SZA is in a different position than she was with CTRL. We haven’t had a big female R&B album/era (commercially) like SOS in years . She should be in position to sweep R&B categories easily. Kill Bill and Snooze are impressive and big hits. Snooze is in the Top 3 after charting for nearly a year. She could definitely win Record of the Year also. The last 2 winners in that category have been R&B/Hip Hop influenced. She definitely has the appeal for Pop, Rap/Hip Hop and R&B votes. Big eras like SOS in R&B tend to sweep that field. There are multiple examples of that. Kill Bill is a crossover pop hit while Snooze is the R&B based one. She got in the Rap Field with Low which is impressive. Id say she has Progressive R&B Album, R&B Song, R&B Performance LOCKED. Arguably Traditional R&B Performance too. Victoria Monét should be able to skate through a BNA & R&B Album win easily too.

Is Kellys pop vocal nomination impressive?
I think she benefits from the name-check thing and she has great placement on the ballot (Clarkson = C).

Official: Usher for Super Bowl HT 2024
Not some people being weird in these comments … Mind You …. https://x.com/talkofthecharts/status/1705965689985466418?s=46 I think Confessions was the last R&B album from the 00s to go Diamond and he had biggest first week sales for any R&B artist period (1.1m) for Confessions. He has hits in the 90s, 00s, and 10s. He’s one of the greatest artists of all time then he’s a great singer and performer. He checks all the boxes.

True to that but the voters are going to vote for what they feel is the BEST in each category regardless , new leader or not. They literally don’t care and some pool of voters have big biases. It will take time for them to progress to a new type of winner. The closest Beyoncé ever came to winning AOTY was with I Am Sasha Fierce . Honestly, I think she could’ve won if she had submitted SL to ROTY instead of Halo. That probably could’ve persuaded voters to let her do a clean sweep but it’s water under the bridge now lol.

I don’t think Beyoncé will win this time. Beyoncé probably turned off some voters with how many people are involved with Renaissance (credits). Some voters are very snobby like that. Dianne Warren did that weird mess about Alien Superstar having a bunch of writers. Someone like her most likely wouldn’t vote for Beyoncé. I will say Mary J. Blige & possibly Kendrick Lamar could’ve also hurt her chances with gaining votes. Mary J Blige. definitely took a chunk of R&B votes from her. Some R&B voters could’ve voted for Mary since they have an actual R&B Album to vote for. I would say Lizzo too but with a small portion. Music Film being moved to the main telecast doesn’t really mean anything. I would take that with a grain a salt. The Grammys do not care about getting tomatoes thrown at them if Beyoncé loses again.
