The slowed remix of Angel Baby is so good! And it was a random unexpected success for him because it trended on TikTok. I wouldn't mind a few more bops like this.:gaygacat4:

Because they're self-hating homosexuals and are probably bitter of other gay guys' success unlike them who are stuck performing in front of a mirror thinking they're Beyonce when they're really Ally Brooke.

I swear i see this kind of comment way more often than people actually mocking gay artists. Ironic, 'cause you're trying to point some finger but you are the one that come off as pretty self-hatin to me. It's tyring reading all the time how "the gays" should or shouldn't behave.

/OT In a Dream and Angel Baby were immaculate, go king, give us AOTY.

He has yet to top blue neighborhood but I’ll be perched. Serve me another Youth/Suburbia king :squirrel:

Bloom but especially In A Dream were amazing, didn't really care for Angel Baby but still really excited for new Troye.

Someone felt hit :rip: And it’s true. Most gays on this forum not only come at female artists who aren’t their faves, but queer male artists most of all and it’s odd.

I had no clue he was recording an album, so I’m excited. I just hope his management/label actually PUSH him this time around, and he needs to give it up with the mid-week releases. That’s why his songs always get lost in the shuffle :toofunny3:

No honey, I'm sorry, I love plenty of queer male artists. Nobody came for Troye in this thread, so the shade wasn't needed. Imagine defending celebrities who don't even need it by shaming other gay men who don't have success!!1!

It’s not about this thread (or you for that matter, so idk why your felt hit enough to respond in the first place, yet here we are), honey. Maybe brush up on your reading comprehension skills and develop some common sense along the way. I’ve been on this forum for a decade and Troye, Olly Alexander, Sam Smith, Lil Nas X (aside from the thirst he receives) all get negative comments from men on this forum.

Furthermore, it’s not about defending celebs, but more about calling out gay men for shitting on other gay/queer men/individuals who give them representation in the music landscape.

edit: ATRL hates ALL pop boys lol

Lastly, this was the original comment made. Nowhere does it say that anyone was coming for Troye in THIS THREAD. It was GENERAL STATEMENT (look it up while you brush up on your reading comprehension skills) made that’s mostly factual based on the many threads I’ve been in that involve Troye, Sam, Lil Nas X, Olly, etc. :coffee2:

Your general statement does nothing but adding fuel to the fire. You seem quite upset, maybe it's time to log off.

Who is self-hating? The entirety of this statement makes no sense considering I was giving Troye his props and my comment was referencing those who hate on gay pop stars.

Thank you for having some common sense, chile. The other one has no clue what they're talking about.

ATRL ignores all queer musicians because they only really care to talk about chart success and impact / iconography, two things that 99% of queer acts never attain in any significant or culturally dominant way. And the few that do manage to reach that level still get ignored or disparaged. :sadviolin:

Super excited for a new Troye album in my life. :duca:

more songs like Bloom, Easy, Strawberries & Cigarettes and Angel Baby plz:gaycat:

I can’t believe we still don’t have an update or album

It’s been so long I really hope at least the lead comes soon. He already said album is releasing this year.  @BlackoutZone @RideOrDiedo you happen to know anything?
