She’s getting dragged in the comments for being a billionaire and allegedly running a sweat shop While singing about quitting a 9-5 :deadbanana2:

Oh boo hoo, cry me a river. Her goal was to make everyday people feel good and relatable with this song, most everyday people work 9-5s. People will find a problem with anything these days.

we'll if she sang about not working and earning millions i'm not sure the gp would be able to relate...

You know you that ***** when you cause all this conversation
Always stay gracious, best revenge is your paper

drag her from your dried semen and cheetos crusted keyboards from 2010, which is the last time you had income :clap3:

Anti-work people are the biggest waste of space and oxygen in our society

We shouldn't even do threads about those parasites

I doubt Bey would ever hear about this

i knew it would be antiwork subreddit! :ahh:

They should just be happy she's telling us to embrace socialism.  cool. all these elites are pushing unrealistic pipedreams that neoliberalism will never get us to. Give us our check, our universal income or bust so we can vibe more on the dancefloor and work less.

She is so obsessed with the 9-5 work aesthetic - like I get that she is trying to make people relate to the lyrics but sis you're still a billionaire?!

All the people on the planet
Working 9 to 5 just to stay alive
How come? :rip:

Idk bey you tell us! :rip:

The tone-deafness to think everyday people only work from 9 to 5 :chick2:

It's literally just a song and the sweatshop accusation has been debunked over and over, besides the fact the allegations were against Topshop before Bey left for adidas.

Then it came out Ivy Park was paying like 3x the national rate :rip:

They're right and she deserves to be dragged

Groundbreaking coming from someone whose profile is practically dedicated to her.

:skull:

I mean anyone else would’ve gotten skulldragged for being tone deaf so let’s not act like some people tugging at her is a big deal. She’ll be fine.

Well didn’t she have them lined up at red lobster too ? Or carrying hot sauce in their bags. Duhhhhhh handing in my 2 weeks notice tomorrow.

I mean the lyrics do give extreme cringe/tone-deafness/did she even write them, coming from a billionaire.

it is very abusrd to hear her talking about a 9 to 5.. like.. what... it's giving more the office sitcom than lead single from an artist of her stature. i am shocked and I do think it is offensive to real 9 to 5 workers, in addition to sounding juvenile

The real joke is anyone who takes anti capitalism lyrics from Beyoncé seriously, considering her entire career is built on it.
