Oh I like her, but that's your opinion though. She's popular and doing her thing but hasn't brought anything different to the scene to be considered IMPORTANT or changing the game and i stand by what i said. Is not about hating cause I've always liked her, but important in the Latin scene? let's not put her on a pedestal now. Please let me know what she has done artistically or done different for LATIN MUSIC to be considered so important. MOTOMAMI on the other hand, that's changing the game, that's bringing something different to the scene. important to me is more than just successful tour and bought awards. Thanks though.

Popular and important are two different things though i can name a few bunch of new girlies that are making a name for themselves and already showing their artistic side more than Karol who would be nothing if it wasn't for Noah Assad.

You're absolutely right. I feel like Latin music has a hit a wall. No direction, people are tired of reggaeton. However, I can see Latin pop coming back, very chill synthpop ballads making a comeback too.

I don't see a full English album happening. However, Ive heard she has one more left with RCA and 1 more with Sony Latin and she's calling it quits with them. She is, but chooses not. Just because she doesn't have an army of dancers like the two you mentioned, doing the same recycled dance routines from 2001-on doesn't mean she's not able to pull it off. Yeah she jumps around blah blah blah, is just her and her band, plays instrument here and there, but you fail to realize all these girls all do the same tired routines from her old tours is not just Shakira.

Her shows are always 1 hr 55 mins to 2 hours since the mongoose. and always an hour late to the stage. Guaranteed this one will be a little over 2 hrs all thanks to her kids filling in for her lol let me stop before her team is here giving her ideas

More classics Enrique biggest impact especially during the 2nd Boom of Latin Music = Ricky seen them live as well. Not to compare, but Enrique gives me male Shakira vibes (minimalist production just him and his band.) Ricky gave me jlo vibes big production lots of colors lights & special effects. but it's too close to call their stats are so similar

I disagree, this is most consistent I've seen her management team since laundry service, I dare to say this era is similar to the she wolf era, but better managed.
