It was not a song about to become a hit but it did fine for what it is

A lot drake songs debut high and leave the charts within 3 weeks. This is the standard chart performance for rap songs that don’t have large playlist reach and or huge radio support. 

That's why she needs to release backup plan

I struggle with this one.  Because, yea, she doesn’t get the support she needs.  But when she does (say, “Sweetest Pie” w/ promo out the ass…the quality is not great).  
 

This definitely not the case all the time, because otherwise I wouldn’t be a fan.  But it’s a little hit or miss sometimes.  
 

Like…after “Savage” she released “Girls in the Hood” + after “WAP” she released “Don’t Stop” (<— which is a fav now though, but as a follow up…idk if it was the right choice).  
 

Still rooting for her though! “Plan B” couldve been a big.  

Not to be a Megan apologist but why would this song have been expected to be a hit? It’s basically a diss track that’s almost entirely reliant on its sample.

Sweetest Pie flopping is the real concern.

Both both flopping is a concern . This had a lot of hype and was the supposed to be the female anthem for the summer.  2 weeks is tragic

yeah and i’ve seen people say it didnt hit the same in studio version compared to the coachella performance so maybe why its not doing numbers
