Capitol is truly the pits, Sam & Halsey need to leave ASAP! 

Artists are doing this all the time now and it’s so annoying. She’s complaining about not being able to release a song while that song is playing in the background the whole video & counts towards streaming. She wants this video of her bitching about ‘label issues’ to blow up & make her seem like an authentic artist, but really just wants the TikTok sound that she just uploaded to go viral

Her label issues have been pretty well documented (in the stan world) or at least speculated about since the Manic era when she shifted from Astralwerks to Capitol. Tik Tok clips of non-HQ unreleased material / original sounds don't count towards streaming unless the song is actually out 

 

Just say you hate Miss Frangipane and keep it moving.

I said what I said. Every artist has label issues to some extent. She is trying to get hype for her new song by posting/whining about it on TikTok, let’s be realistic here.

The way I always assumed the beef was a stan joke but is very much a thing. I liked some of the Halsey songs but it’s hilarious she thought she could hold a candle to Sky

So is she supposed to do nothing? She has a sizable enough stanbase to gain some traction with this. Plus we all know Capitol is kind of the pits with their anchor artists. 

 

The song was supposed to be out already so perhaps she's killing two birds with one stone here by providing the Little Frangipansters with an explanation + doing exactly what the label requested anyway by manufacturing a "viral" moment from a MQ clip

Anyway, the song sounds good ngl and I'm a hater. She's right about labels forcing TikTok trends but I'm also suspecting this is a TikTok stunt in and of itself. I'll choose to believe her this time even though she's a known mythomaniac (i.e. 165M records)

I dont follow her tiktok but she's always been annoying. Remember when her label let her release the alternative experimental non commercial album with a really big budget  including a literal hour long film and all? She should be grateful tbh.
