I really liked her last album, perched

I loved her earlier music (first EPs and debut album) but then she dipped in quality and kinda lost me. Her 2nd album was ok to bad and the third was straight up horrible

 

Martin Johnson coming back gives me hope though. Him + Betty + Peter Thomas are enough to make it work

The number of good songs definitely had a steady decline but there are hits on all the albums... agreed in hoping this is a return to form with MJ tho- she needs a cohesive sound this go around!

Ooooh, I'm very curious about this! I agree the amount of good songs declined a bit with every new album, so I'm hoping she can rebounce with some quality bangers!

This! + Just Thought You Should Know, I Remember, Between You & Me, Ignore Me. That album is a very solid pop album.

Just Thought You Should Know is the best song on that album, and still one of her best ever- she needs to give us an album with that style

This. It is so not as bad as people like to make out it is. There are some great tracks on there.

its polarizing. but its home to some amazing tracks (YCCT, Mama Say, Wanna Be, Reunion) and some of her worst (Free to Fly, SKW, Beautiful)
