Miley, obviously. She's a pretty decent singer and has a superb low register.

 

Rihanna is a little bit of a mess. She's had SOME decent performances, but 90% of the time her live vocals are subpar.

I prefer riri's tone but miley is better live (yes rihanna has a lot of amazing performances but she's less reliable)

Rihanna's tone is much better, Miley is the better singer though. I feel like Rihanna doesn't even try most of the times, Miley uses her potential the most.

Miley Cyrus obviously.

Rihanna is NOT bad as vocalist at all

and Miley’s vocal is overrated just like Kesha and Gaga

I wouldn’t say Miley is inarguably the better vocalist than Rihanna either

cause you can clearly hear the exhaustion when she sings

She always sound breathless because she has to push too much when she sings

you can tell she can’t sing without struggling anymore

Rihana is lazy when she sings, but she seldom sounds unhealthy, that’s technique 

Miley but I prefer Rihanna's tone

Rihanna is pretty average. Miley is an amazing singer.

Rihanna tends to be off key or pitchy most of time unlike Miley and this is coming from someone who stans the former. Miley gets this one.

Does anyone know why Rihanna refuses to sing even half a song when she's on stage? I've seen too many performances of her where doesn't even manage to sing several sentences in a row without randomly pausing or letting the back track/ back-up singers do the work for her. Why?
