Circus. According to Chartmasters Xtina never had a legit career like Britney

Circus lmfao and its singles are actually remembered and not forgotten like B2B.

Back To Basics = 2x Plat

Grammy winning Ain’t No Other Man = 2x Plat

Hurt = 1x Plat

Candyman = 1x Plat

Circus = 1x Plat

Womanizer = 0x Plat
Circus (song) = 0x Plat

If U Seek Amy = 0x Plat

Radar = 0x Plat

Britney flopped and didn’t comeback.

Not Britney’s fault her flop label didn’t buy the certs for those songs

Circus = eligible 3x Plat

Womanizer = eligible 5x Plat

Circus (song) = eligible 4x or 5x Plat

If U Seek Amy = eligible 2x Plat

Radar = eligible 1x Plat

B2B sold more albums but Circus had bigger singles. 2 eras with top notch visuals.

More remembered where?

Spotify:

Back to Basics (22 songs): 396.128.413

Circus (15 songs): 810.949.907

Even if removing Womanizer, Circus has more plays than BTB.

I love both of these eras, the white gurls don't do it like this no more. :jonny5:

Circus is bigger but Basics is waaayyy better, Xtina's best artistic and visual concept to date

Hopefully this doesn't end up like the Stripped vs. Britney thread :rip:

Anyways my answer is leaning towards Circus. I'm pretty sure they both scanned 1.7M in the United States, but Circus had the bigger and more iconic hits. BUT, for those who are old enough to remember, was B2B sold at a higher price because it's a "double album"? I know it doesn't qualify as a double album under the RIAA standards but if it sold for double the price of a regular album and it still sold the same as Circus, that's pretty impressive. But for now I'll say Circus.

Britney and Xtina stans are relentless :rofl:

OT: circus has ‘If You Seek Amy’ so it auto-wins

BTB sales were pretty good consider the price, however the album markets declined by a lot between 2006 and 2008. however i will still give BTB sales slight edge but it wasn't enough to make up for britney far bigger singles,tour and streaming

the album sales with digital adding were pretty simillar until streaming took of but circus is acummlating healthy lead over time

This. People go to the big pop and throwback playlists to listen to songs they know and love. Nobody knows what a Ain't No Other Man is. :deadbanana2:
