mmm last year Lisa alone sold almost 1 million single albums and had a worldwide hit that attracted a lot of non-kpop fans, don't worry, they'll be fine.

they turned next level from a 4/10 to an 11 so i’m not worried about Girls, they’ll continue their streak of quality hits and bsides

No, Hanteo estimates and tracks confirmed sales from affiliated stores. The album isn't physically on sale yet (not till July 8). 

 

But they will likely have access to pre-order data, since they factor that into calculating/tracking sales. 

 

Also, many people here claimed that the "million pre-orders" was just a fake mediaplay article by SM, but Hanteo is independent of SM. So it's interesting that a non-SM music industry source is also now reporting it

Hopefully, but I definitely do not see them selling close to 3 million like some people are predicting here. I'll say the will sell 1.5 million first week and in total around 2.1-2.3 mil. Also Lisa's album is rather weird, we alll thought it will cross 1 million yet it's pretty much stuck in the 780k mark on Gaon for a year now.

Its literally over 900k on hanteo which usually has lower numbers than gaon? 

 

its not rocket science that she obviously has crossed 1mil by now but YG is just not paying to update the numbers cause they’re useless

They don't go to variety (and they're not really fun on varieties), they don't have a lot of past contents to rewatch, they don't have a lot of music to listen to. I got bored of them in 2 years, because there was literally no content present or past to keep me interested. But yeah I will definitely check them out when they release something, because their music and MVs are alright.

I feel like just an equally large amount of people who used to intensely stan them actually left them or went back to become a casual fan now. In 2020 I bought all 4 versions of The Album and 2 cassettes, and gave 4 albums to other fans, and almost become the 2nd Ms Rafranz donating $300 for USBlinkUnion. This comeback (if they ever do get one) not even sure I will buy one, not at all invested in them anymore. 

the way y'all can not comprehend that you can be a fan of someone but not be obsessed with them and need content 24/7

Now that BTS are flopping (for their standards) I can’t wait for them to stop being so cautious with their music. They’ve become basic trying to cater to the public taste.  Generic disney english tracks/ boring k-ballads.

 

It’s time to switch it up. Whens the last time they had an experimental single? BlackSwan? Idol? There’s nothing fresh about a ballad in Summer. 
 

This may be a fault of HYBE itself though. 
HYBE in general are just bad at picking titles. There’s been multiple cases bsides from groups like TXT/Enhypen that have performed better than the title track.
