This may be a fault of HYBE itself though. 
HYBE in general are just bad at picking titles. There’s been multiple cases bsides from groups like TXT/Enhypen that have performed better than the title track.

I don’t think HYBE cares, they won at the end BTS sold 2M albums with recycled tracks from old albums, and armys are still convinced that it was money cash-grab. 

I think we forget that their first US breakthrough hit was DNA, literally their most generic track I guess saw they hit big with a boring track and didn’t even try to give give stronger tracks.

run bts was literally there, it just needed a catchy choreo to go with it and it would've been a hit but they still chose yet to chart cuz "hyyh era nostalgia"

they also need to get rid of their old team, pdogg should retire already and lumpens haven't made a good video in years

But they've been doing it since 2018, Yujin had several cf brand deals in 2018, Wonyoung had already 3 at the time. Even the trainee that didn't make it to IVE was a brand ambassor and walked the runway in Seoul Fashion Week.
