YG really is all about low input and high output in terms of money with BLACKPINK, so music definitely has been pushed to the side and the girls clearly don't mind it

Of course they’re earning like crazy and are already multimillionaires in their mid20s. 80% of idols can’t even say during their whole careers. No wonder they don’t care about releasing musical output because they don’t need to.

I don't think music and their fashion are mutually exclusive but fans need to just accept that they're not on a K-pop schedule and won't release multiple times a year, especially with how slow YG is. 2 years is really not that bad if we're thinking about the solo activities in between and really only less established groups release very often at this point. And K-pop has never been about just the music. Plus I'm sure they'll be active for longer this time around assuming more than 1 single + touring. 

 

If YG has any sense though they should do a large scale rollout to at least make the few times they come back a true event.
